After years of knowing each other and graduating from Babson College together, Agustin and Juan Manuel founded CGL Partners to pursue their entrepreneurial passion – partnering with a successful business owner for a smooth transition while preserving long-term growth and legacy.

With complementary skills and shared values, their partnership is strengthened by a unique personal connection – their mothers were childhood friends. This bond reinforces their compatibility and commitment to resilience, dedication, and integrity.

Our Team

Meet Agustin

Agustin grew up witnessing both the entrepreneurial and corporate paths within his family. He saw firsthand the challenges, struggles, and rewards of running a small business, as well as the hard work, grit, and character his mother demonstrated in building a career within a traditionally male-dominated industry. He carries his parents’ work ethic and resilience and is proud to have them as his inspiration.

Agustin’s journey reflects a unique blend of legal expertise and entrepreneurial drive. With over seven years as a corporate lawyer, he then transitioned to entrepreneurship and successfully founded and operated two businesses.

Meet Juan Manuel

Juan Manuel comes from a family of entrepreneurs. His father has built and grown a successful business from scratch for 30+ years, while his mother is a successful serial entrepreneur. From a young age, they instilled in him values of hard work, ethics, family, and resilience – essential traits for long term success. These experiences make him deeply honored and inspired by his parents and the example they set.

Juan Manuel is an industrial engineer with an MBA from Babson College and a decade of experience in finance and operations, bringing a robust set of complementary skills, and having worn multiple hats along his professional journey.
